The Mike Steinel Quintet featuring Rosana Eckert is releasing their second album, and it's a unique concept! The musical suite is a companion to Mike's first published novel, Saving Charlie Parker! The book, a wonderful time-travel story of historical fiction, revolves around the life and associates of jazz saxophonist Charlie "Bird" Parker and a retired trumpet professor who finds he can travel back in time. The CD is a collection of original Steinel songs inspired by Bird and the novel, also used as brief musical interludes in the audio book. Join us on the Saving Charlie Parker ride! Grab a book (or audio book read by Mike) and check out the album.

What a fun interview with Jennifer Loehding for her Starter Girlz podcast! We talk life balance, my process for starting a project, professional influences and memorable experiences, and even some fun "getting to know you" questions. With this podcast, she is hoping to inspire people to have the courage to take that leap -- "whether you are starting a podcast, starting a business, starting a brand, or starting a movement..."

For many years, theater visionary, producer, and Undermain Theater owner Katherine Owens was the "voice of KERA," Dallas's award-winning PBS TV station. Her expressive voice could be heard every day, informing viewers of upcoming shows, exciting local events, donor benefits and opportunities, and more. She sadly passed away this summer, deeply mourned by the DFW community. It is Rosana's honor and privilege to take her place as the voice of KERA, a station of which Rosana has been a longtime sustaining member. Rosana's voice will begin to air in a gradual transition beginning January 2020.
