Groovy Samba. A catchy Rosana Eckert original with an uplifting lyric about taking the high road and going “into the fire” to face life’s challenges… for what we put into this world is what we will get back! The groove alternates between a gentle Caribbean soca and a medium Samba (the rhythm parts are detailed). This was a commissioned piece by Slovenian vocal jazz quartet Vox Arsana for their debut CD Turn it Up which they recorded with the RTV Slovenija Big Band. Their version is a shortened “radio edit” of the original.
